Clinical Electives

Application open all year

Your Clinical Electives

The programme offers students of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery the opportunity to participate in clinical, professional, or research training abroad, enriching their academic path with a highly valuable international experience.

These Clinical Electives are open to students enrolled in any degree programme within the faculty, subject to the requirements set by the host institutions, and are managed in a free-mover format. Cattolica International provides organizational and financial support to facilitate these experiences.

The programme is open to students and recent graduates (graduated no more than 12 months before the start of the activity) who wish to undertake a period of clinical or research training abroad.

Each student selects their destination based on their academic and professional interests, choosing a hospital or healthcare organization in Europe or beyond.

It is the candidate’s responsibility to verify directly with the host institution:

  • Application deadlines
  • Training period
  • Academic requirements
  • Language skills required

Students must also check in advance for any visas or permits needed, in agreement with the host institution and the consular authorities of the destination country.
