COIL The international system and the transformation of democracy in the 21st century

The goal of the COIL project on The International System and the Transformation of Democracy in the 21st Century is to explore the changing international order in the post-Cold War era. Students investigate how the democratic institutions of the United States and Italy in the 21st century (and other NATO countries) have been involved. The "big question" will be to what extent and what aspects the change in international order in the 21st century is influencing the future of democracy.
