Students intending to graduate must:
The topic of the final examination may be on subjects present in the study plan or, alternatively, on other subjects provided that they are part of the educational offerings of the course of study in which the student is enrolled. The topic chosen by the student must always be agreed upon and approved by the respective lecturer who is responsible for evaluating the consistency of the topic with the specific educational objectives of the same course of study.
The topic must then be entered on the iCatt personal page (Online Secretariat - Final Examination) by the deadline indicated in the 'Four-year and Graduate Degree Programmes Calls' section of this page.

Any changes to the title of the final dissertation, approved by the professor, must be made at the time the application is completed. The title contained must therefore be definitive, as no further changes can be accepted.
The .pdf file of the paper must be uploaded via your iCatt personal page (Online Secretariat, Final Dissertation, Submit Final Dissertation).
Follow the directions for undergraduates at the link: Delivery of the final paper - Instructions for undergraduates
In the event that the professor appointed to chair the commission is unable to do it, as communicated close to the date of the exam, a substitute will be appointed to open the exam call on the scheduled date, avoiding postponement of the call.
In order to reduce the critical situations linked to the excessive proximity or overlap of the date of the end of the exam session (last call) with the date of the start of the graduation session, it will be possible for undergraduates to close their careers (understood as the recording of all exams) within 7 calendar days of the start of the graduation session, i.e. the time required to carry out the checks on the student's career. To this end, the examination calendar will be scheduled so that undergraduate students can take advantage of the profit exam calls as follows
Students registered in the summer session (June-July): the first 2 out of 3 calls (or the first call out of 2, where applicable).
Students registered in the autumn session (September-October): first call in 2.
Students registered in the special session (December-April): the first 2 out of 3 calls (or the first call out of 2, where applicable).
The last call of each session may also be used if the examination is registered within 7 calendar days before the start of the graduation session.
Rome Campus
The deadline on which the last exam can be taken is communicated to the graduating student at the same time in the message containing the dates of the degree appointments.
Undergraduate students who fail to graduate in the call for which they have applied for admission to the final examination must notify both the professor/supervisor and the Student Services Centre of the relevant seat.
Notification to the Student Services Centre should be made by writing via the iCatt Information Request form under Lessons, Examinations and Final Examination - Final Examination.
For a subsequent graduation session, a new application for admission to the final examination must be submitted with a €16 revenue stamp and a receipt of payment of the Undergraduate Contribution.
Graduating students will receive the convocation exclusively via their iCatt personal page approximately 10 days before the scheduled graduation date (Online Secretariat - Final Examination section).

CRITERIA FOR DETERMINING THE FINAL GRADE, CREDITS AWARDED AND THESIS EVALUATION CRITERIA
The final graduation mark is the weighted average (for the ECTS credits of each course) of the marks obtained in each profit examination.
The grade 30 cum laude is counted as 31.
The average in thirtieths thus obtained is converted into 110ths
For graduate degree programmes only, the marks for any debts or consolidations are also added.
With reference to the credits awarded and the assessment of the final thesis, please refer below to the sheets prepared for each degree or profile.
