It is possible to transfer to another course at the same or lower level as your course of origin within Università Cattolica.
In order to proceed, it is necessary to check one's degree curriculum in order to assess the admission qualification and any recognisable credits, by accessing the page iCatt (section Online secretariat - Transfers) or on the Registration Portal, where you will be able to see the courses you have taken, complete with: disciplinary scientific sector (if applicable), educational credit (if applicable), grade and date of passing.
The steps to proceed with the course changeover are:
- Check the admission criteria and timetable of the course for which you intend to apply for internal transfer. The admission criteria for each Faculty can be found on the Course pages.
- Carry out the Verification of Requirements and open the Application for the degree course of interest.
- Print and complete the Application Form and the MAV forms for the first instalment and the secretarial fees.
- Reload the documents and wait for validation by the University.
- Proceed to record any outstanding examinations that you wish to have recognised in your degree curriculum.
- Then confirm the transfer request by accessing your personal page iCatt (Online secretariat - Transfers section) or to the Registration Portal, selecting the function "Proceed with transfer". Selecting the function "Proceed with transfer" formally initiates the course transfer.
After receiving the admission decision, upload it to the Registration Portal:
- the application for the new degree course
- the application for transfer with a €16 revenue stamp attached
