What is the Monitor Challenge?
The Monitor Challenge is a strategy competition organized by Monitor, open to students graduating in 2026 or 2027, enrolled in graduate degree programmes in Italy. You can apply on your own or as a group of 2-4 students and compete on a real-life case coached by Deloitte professionals.

To help you grow and develop your skillset as a strategy consultant, each selected team participant will have:
- An induction event on Monitor, to learn about Deloitte culture and people and to kick-off the Monitor Challenge
- Dedicated coaching sessions, to help you navigate through the case and hone your skills
Five teams will be then selected to participate to the Monitor Challenge final, to be held at Deloitte Milan Headquarters and will be invited to join for the networking evening event.
Highest ranked finalists will unlock:
- A special fast-track to the hiring process for an entry level position
- A dedicated coaching session from a Monitor Executive
Sign up information
- Only students graduating from Master level studies in 2026 or 2027 are allowed to participate in the competition
- Participants can sign up as a team of 2-4 people, or as an individual (they will then be grouped with other participants). Each team member should sign up individually while entering team member's contacts in order to create the team
- As part of the registration, students will be required to submit their CVs, which will be screened based on their education, work/internship experience, extracurricular activities, etc.
- Students who pass the initial screening will receive an invitation to participate in the first round of the competition
Participants must sign up before the subscription deadline, set on April 10, 2026 EOD.
Calendar
- Sign up must be completed by April 10
- All participants will receive a feedback by April 14, as well as the invitation to join the online induction event on Monitor Deloitte
- Registered and successfully screened participants will receive the case and info about their teams via email on April 16, same day as the induction event
- The case submission deadline is set on April, 30 EOD. Teams must submit their solution via email
- The finalist names will be released by May 7
- The final will be held on May 13 starting at 2:00 pm at Deloitte’s office in Milan, via Santa Sofia 28
- After the working session, finalists’ teams are invited to join the networking evening event
