Students enrolled in the third year of a Laurea Triennale (at Università Cattolica or in other Institutions, but interested in applying for the academic year 2025/26 for the Laurea Magistrale in Actuarial sciences, risk and data analysis at Università Cattolica) can apply for the programme and obtain two degrees at the conclusion of their study path:

  • Laurea Magistrale in Actuarial Sciences, Risk and Data Analysis from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore
  • MSc in Actuarial Science from University of Southampton 

The programme covers two years of study of the Laurea Magistrale, the first year at University of Southampton and the second year at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. 
Departures are scheduled in September 2025 for the academic year 2025/2026.

  • Bachelor’s degree qualification of minimum 105/110, or GPA 27/30 if the student has not graduated yet (it is required to graduate by September of the enrollment year)
  • IELTS: the minimum required IELTS Academic score is an overall score of 6.5 with minimum of 6.0 for each band 
  • TOEFL:  the minimum required score is 92, with these minimum subscores: Listening 21, Reading 22, Writing 21, Speaking 23

In order to obtain a Master of Science at University of Southampton students must complete the program following exams set out in the Study Plan.

The final thesis will be prepared and discussed both at Southampton and at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore upon return at home university, in accordance with the rules set by the Faculty Board.

Please note that all students taking part in the Degree program are required, in accordance with Cattolica regulations, to take the Theology exams present in their course plan.

The full tuition fee for the MSc at Southampton University is £25,400. Cattolica students will benefit of 10% partner discount.
This cost may be subject to change for the next academic year, based on Southampton internal financial adjustments.

Upon official acceptance from Southampton, all students will have to pay a programme fee of €950 to Cattolica International. This fee will include administrative and application fees and the student safety package and insurance.

Cattolica International will award scholarships of €1,200 to eligible candidates, while funds are available.
All students will be responsible for the costs of their stay abroad (travel, room and board, registration fees, costs of academic material, health insurance and visa issuance fees).

Selected students must also be officially enrolled at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore during their time abroad (keeping to university set deadlines for fees, study plans, graduation
scheduling requests etc).

All students participating in an official Cattolica International program must accept the “Student Safety Package” provisions by downloading the “Safety Check Students” app for the geolo-
cation and instant messaging features to be used exclusively in the event of an emergency. 
The “Student Safety Package” also includes health insurance coverage for the entire duration of the program.
