Lectures will be held in person until the end of the academic year 2022/23 and enrolled students can access the recording of lectures (which cannot be downloaded) online from their personal iCatt page, for a limited period of time, determined by the individual Faculties.

 

 

Profit examinations will be held in person, both written and oral exams.
Please note that you can register for the exam up to 4 days before the official date of the roll call and cancel it, if you do not intend to take it, up to the day before the roll call.

 

When registering for the exam, only for the reasons provided for in Rectoral Decree No. 9666 of 23/02/2023 and only on condition that the exam is held orally:

The Faculties resolved as follows:

Faculty of Arts and Philosophy

The Faculty decided not to allow remote examinations for students engaged in Erasmus international mobility.

Faculty of Law

The Faculty decided not to allow remote examinations for students engaged in Erasmus international mobility.

On the other hand, with regard to students engaged in a Double Degree course, the Faculty has decided to allow the possibility of taking only one exam remotely, provided that it is done by the end of the autumn session - i.e. during the first few months at the destination.

Faculty of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences

 The Faculty has resolved to allow examinations to be held remotely, subject to an email request by the student to the Dean (presidenza.smfn@unicatt.it) and the lecturer (nome.cognome@unicatt.it) of the course, to be received at least 7 days before the scheduled date of the call.

Faculty of Political and Social Sciences

The Faculty has resolved not to allow exams to be held remotely for students involved in international mobility programmes; the only possible exception is granted to students enrolled in Double Degree or Joint Programmes, also in view of the possibility of transforming the exam into an oral interview.
Only and exclusively in the event that the start of the classes at the foreign location for which the student has been selected is prior to the dates of the exams set for the January/February session at Università Cattolica, where the student has attended one or more semester-long courses during the first semester, an in-person pre-session will be scheduled in December for these courses.

Faculty of Economics and Law

The Faculty decided not to allow remote examinations for students engaged in Erasmus international mobility.

Faculty of Economics

The Faculty has decided that the student must send the request to the Dean as follows:

if the examination is scheduled to be oral only, send an e-mail request to presidenza.economia@unicatt.it to the Lecturer (or Lecturers if they are Co-teachers) nome.cognome@unicatt.it with the subject line "Request for an opinion from the Dean on an 'international' distance examination - call date xxx" no later than 20 days before the date.

In the e-mail the student must specify:

 First name Last name, student ID number, course, degree programme, Undergraduate or Graduate degree programme, year of enrolment 2022/23 (I, II, IIII), academic year when the course has been included in the study plan, name of the international mobility programme, destination, foreign university, period of stay abroad, examination methods envisaged in Guide 2022/23 (full report), date of roll call, and an express request for a remote oral examination for which the Opinion of the Dean of the Faculty of reference is requested in accordance with R.D. 9666 of 23 2 23. Signature. The email must be sent from the personal address @icatt.it.

 A different e-mail is required for each examination (course and date).

Faculty of Education

The Faculty has decided to allow examinations to be conducted remotely.

School of Banking, Finance and Insurance Sciences
The Faculty has decided not to allow remote examinations for students engaged in Erasmus, Overseas, ISEP, FPA international mobility programmes.
The only possible exception is for Double Degree students if the professor/lecturer responsible for the course is in favour, also in view of the possibility of carrying out the examination orally.

Faculty of Agriculture, Food, and Environmental Sciences

The Faculty has decided to allow remote examination for the students involved in the following programmes:

Double Degree (outgoing and incoming)

International mobility (outbound)

limited to the exam that is concomitant, as scheduled, to the student's travel.

Faculty of Psychology

The Faculty has resolved to allow examinations to be held remotely only in documented cases where the start of courses at the foreign location occurs earlier than the dates of the examinations to be taken at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.

Faculty of Linguistic Sciences and Foreign Literatures

The Faculty specifies that the preliminary written language examinations cannot be taken orally: they cannot therefore be taken remotely.
As regards the other profit examinations, students on international mobility may, subject to the favourable opinion of the lecturer, request to take the examination remotely in oral form, always respecting the rules on propaedeuticity laid down by the Faculty.
