INTERNATIONAL SUMMER PROGRAM - ESADE SUMMER SCHOOL

NOTE: You must select a core track. For the July edition, elective courses are also available. 

You can submit a request for credits for exams taken to be recognised. 

Language certificates

You must have a B2 English language level. 

International certificates accepted, if dated on or after May 2022:

  • Cambridge B2 First: minimum score 160
  • TOEFL iBT: minimum score 65
  • IELTS: minimum score 5.5
  • Duolingo English Test (DET): minimum score 100

 

Cattolica International Language Test

If you do not hold any of the specified certificates, you can take the Cattolica International internal English test.

Notes

  • Select a test date and book your test when you are applying online. You should select the first date that fits your calendar so that you are sure to take the test before places run out. 
  • The test takes place in online mode. You will receive an email with the Zoom link by the day before the test date.
  • The test can only be taken once. 
  • If you have already taken the Cattolica International internal test for other programmes abroad and obtained a result valid for this programme, you can use that result without needing take the test again. You must have taken the test no earlier than May 2022 and if you use a previous test result you must specify the test date in your online application. 

 
Enrolment on a degree programme delivered in English

If you are on a Cattolica degree programme delivered entirely in English, you can upload enrolment self-certification and use it to apply for this programme.

You can either stay on campus at the housing provided by ESADE (Sant Cugat, Barcelona) or organise accommodation independently.

PLEASE NOTE: students interested in on campus accommodation during Period 1 (3 June - 14 June) are invited to sen an email to programmi.internazionali@unicatt.it.

Campus and accommodation International Summer Program - Esade Summer School

 

Cost of housing (meals excluded):

  • 2 weeks: €650
  • 4 weeks: €1,250€
  • 6 weeks: €1,900€
  • 8 weeks: €2,540€

Students can use the cafeteria and the kitchen within the Residence.

Cattolica International can provide support on how to book accommodation but you will have to book and pay for accommodation yourself directly.

The cost of the programme includes:

  • orientation and support from Cattolica International during enrolment on the ESADE course
  • insurance and Student Safety Package
  • support before departure
  • enrolment and course attendance
  • support on return from the programme for procedure for registering examinations taken abroad
  • official certificate of attendance, with exam grades
  • "Welcome Back: unpack your experience!" session by C International on return from the programme

Not included in the cost of the programme

  • return flights
  • food and housing
  • visa costs, if applicable
  • cost of study materials 
  • anything not specified in the preceding list 

You must be in possession of a valid passport or an ID card valid for travel outside Italy. You must check that your travel document is valid. 

Spain is within the EU and is inside the Shengen area so there is no requirement for a visa. If you have non-EU nationality you will need to check requirements for entry into Spain.

Some exams are pre-approved for students enrolled on the Master’s Degree programme in Management. 

However, students are still required to apply for recognition of credits through their programme plan.

It is your responsibility to check the programme schedule as soon as it is available on the ESADE site.
