In February 2025 the Professional Training Activities (P.T.A.) will begin for students enrolled in the second year in Psychology. This permits the acquisition of 10 CFUs of Practical Apprenticeship.

The course consists of 17 group meetings (+ one final meeting and one individual meeting) spread over the 2nd and 3rd year of the course (until May/June 2026). The meetings will last 4 hours each and will take place in presence on Fridays in the morning both during the class period and during the examination session.

The meetings will be led by a tutor, an external professional working in psychology related fields. The activities proposed are aimed at providing students with learning methods, tools and procedures related to the applied contexts of psychology. In addition to the work in group, homework evaluated by the tutors are planned between the meetings.

Attendance at the P.T.A. is mandatory. Absences are only allowed for serious reasons and up to a maximum of 3; they must always be justified and will be carefully examined. Students will be automatically assigned to a tutor who will contact them before the beginning of the course.

Please find below the dates of the first group meetings (from February to May 2025):

  • 14th February
  • 28th February
  • 28th March
  • 11th April
  • 16th May
  • 30th May

In order to obtain approval for the course and the consequent acquisition of the 10 CFUs, the tutors will evaluate students’ attendance, quality of the products and of participation. The 10 CFU will be awarded at the end of the third year of the course.

Working students whose working hours constitute a real obstacle to attendance should contact Dr. Francesca Vittoria Danioni (francescavittoria.danioni@unicatt.it).

For students going abroad on an international mobility program, the continuity of the course will be guaranteed through supplementary activities under the guidance of the tutor. In this case, please contact Dr. Francesca Vittoria Danioni (francescavittoria.danioni@unicatt.it)
