In the weeks following the closure of applications, a ranking is drawn up for each of the three Exchange, ISEP and Study Abroad programmes. All rankings will then be published at the same time.
The ISEP network facilitates mobility worldwide, but predominantly to destinations with academic offerings in English. In the rankings, the level of English proficiency will be considered, and only in the absence of this language will the system consider French, Spanish, or German, where available.
The rankings are drawn up following the criteria set out in the "Score Calculation Formulas" section and are used to allocate places and study grants, distributed proportionally among the candidates of the different faculties.
The criteria adopted by ISEP to allocate places are the number of places available at individual universities and the availability of courses in the student’s study area. In the event that ISEP cannot allocate one of the destinations listed by an applicant, an alternative destination will be proposed that responds to the student’s academic profile.
It is NEITHER AUTOMATIC NOR GUARANTEED that a selected university destination will be allocated. It is therefore important to take into account the list of placement probabilities when researching a university destination.
When the placement process has been concluded, you will be informed via email from Cattolica International. Places must be accepted in writing and acceptance will be considered complete after payment of the programme fee.
After the selection process, Cattolica International will email the selected students inviting them to attend a meeting with the programme coordinator and a meeting with academic staff in charge of exam recognition.
It is essential that you attend these meetings if your semester abroad is to be organised properly.
Once a successful selection has been made by Cattolica International, the student must make the final registration on the ISEP portal, according to the deadlines that will be communicated to those selected.
Students should then forward their list of preferred destinations (up to 10) to ISEP together with the following documents:
Cattolica International will proceed with any repechage of candidates on the waiting list as long as registration can still be managed.
