Università Cattolica, through the Master of Science in Sustainable Viticulture and Enology, offers students the possibility of obtaining, at the conclusion of their study path, a double qualification of:

  • Laurea Magistrale in Sustainable Viticulture and Enology from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore
  • Master en vigne, vin et gestion du terroir from ESA- Angers

The program covers two years of study, with the first year undertaken at Università Cattolica and the second year at ESA in Angers.

Departures are scheduled in September 2025 for the academic year 2025/2026.

To apply you need to register and pay the € 35 application fee (non-refundable).

The application is required to access the Study Plan dedicated to Double Degree students. If you are interested in the program, please apply by the start of classes on 23 September, in order to access the dedicated Study Plan.

Applications will be assessed and a ranking will be compiled, based on the Faculty score calculation for Exchange programs.

Students should have a TOEIC score of 785, TOEFL score of 79 iBT, an IELTS score of 6 or an equivalent certificate (First Certificate of English – Cambridge ESOL/ISE II – Trinity College, London) or have successfully completed a degree program taught in English or currently studying in English at their home university.

Students participating in the program must write their Final Thesis with an ESA Angers supervisor with or without assistance of a co-supervisor from Cattolica. Students will have nevertheless to follow the Cattolica procedure to register for a Cattolica official Graduation day (i.e. in terms of steps, deadlines and fees). 

Please note that all students taking part in the Degree program are required, in accordance with Cattolica regulations, to pass the Theology exam.

  • Application fee: € 35
  • Tuition fees at ESA Angers: free as this is a Double Degree program in Exchange.

Students must be officially enrolled at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore while they are abroad (keeping to deadlines for tuition fees, study plans, request for graduation etc).
Selected students will be responsible for the costs of their stay abroad (travel, accommodation, food and costs of material). 

Erasmus Exchange scholarships are available for the period spent abroad: further information about the procedure to follow in order to apply for the Erasmus+ scholarship will be provided. The following documents could be requested:

  • ISEE Universitario
  • Receipts of payment (e.g. accommodation, transports, flights, ecc.)
  • Online Learning Agreement, duly filled in with courses attended
  • Statement Period of Study, duly filled in (instructions will be provided)

Scholarships will be confirmed during the month of July 2025.
 

Selected students will benefit from the health insurance provided by AXA in collaboration with Cattolica. In addition, the “Student Safety Package” will be activated, and the students will be able to download the Safety Check Students app for the geolocation and instant communications in case of emergency. More information about the activation procedure will be provided to the selected students.
