Università Cattolica, through the Faculty of Economics and Law, Master’s Degree Program (Laurea Magistrale) in Global Business Management, offers its students the possibility of obtaining, at the conclusion of their study path, a double qualification of:

  • Laurea Magistrale in Global Business Management from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore
  • Master’s Degree in International Business from Fudan University (Shanghai, China)

 

The program covers two years of study, with the first year undertaken at Università Cattolica and the second year at Fudan University.

Departures are scheduled approximately in September 2026 of the academic year 2026/2027, and the program will end with the graduation at Università Cattolica.

To obtain the Master’s Degree in International Business from Fudan University, students must complete the program of exams set out in the Agreement.

 

To apply, you need to register and pay a €35.00 application fee (non-refundable).

For the academic year 2026/27, up to 10 students will be selected.

Cattolica International scholarships of €1.500 will be awarded.

Scholarships will be awarded with priority to applicants enrolling by November 17th.

In case of remaining funds, scholarships will be assigned to candidates applying by March 2nd. 


For scholarship awarding purposes, a ranking will be compiled based on the following:

  • 40% weighted average or results of exams passed
  • 40% total credits accumulated
  • 20% language skills 

 

In the event of a tie in scores, additional qualifications will be assessed according to the following priority order:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree grade (if available for both candidates)
  2. High School Diploma grade
  3. Date of birth (the oldest candidate wins)

 

Students selected will also have the opportunity to apply for the Chinese Government Scholarship.

  • Students selected within the first intake will be able to apply for the scholarship through Fudan University (Type B)
  • Students selected within the second intake will apply for the scholarship through the local Chinese Embassy (Type A)
     

Students are exempt from the test and are assigned a B2.2 level, as students enrolled in an entirely English-taught course.

Students applying for the Double Degree program at Fudan University should provide the following documents:

  • Certified copy of the Bachelor’s Degree certificate/Diploma Supplement
  • An official print-out of study results at Cattolica so far (Transcript of Records)
  • A motivation letter (in English) demonstrating academic appropriateness and personal reasons for wishing to participate in the Double Degree program
  • A curriculum vitae (in English) containing personal details, educational background, practical or professional work experiences or qualifications and previous scholarship awards
  • Two letters of recommendation from previous course associate or full professors
  • Valid passport copy

 

On the registration day at Fudan, students are required to provide a hard copy of their official Bachelor's Diploma, and an authentication certificate from the China Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE).
 

Students enrolled in the first year of Laurea Magistrale at the Faculty of Economics and Law – Laurea Magistrale in Global Business Management, can apply for the program.

Students have to pass all the exams of the first year of Global Business Management by July 2026.
 

Please note that all students taking part in the Degree program are required, in accordance with Cattolica regulations, to take the Theology exams present in their course plan.

Students have to complete their internship during the first year at Cattolica (6 ECTS).

They will also have the opportunity to do a second internship during the second year at Fudan University (4 CC). Please note that students who decide to do their internship in China will have to apply for an internship endorsement to add to their student visa.
 

The final thesis of Laurea Magistrale will be written in English. 

Students will submit a Master’s thesis to Fudan University (of over 25.000 words) and one to Cattolica (of at least 40.000 words). They will complete the Master’s thesis defence at Fudan first, then at Cattolica.

Students will have to follow the Cattolica procedure to register for a Cattolica official Graduation day (i.e. in terms of steps, deadlines and fees).

The following tuition fee can be subject to change as it refers to the current academic year:

  • Cattolica application fee: €35
  • Cattolica program fee: €950
  • Fudan application fee: ¥800 (approx. €95,00)
  • Fudan tuition fee: ¥109.000 (approx. €12.000)
  • Fudan compulsory health insurance: ¥800 (approx. €95,00)

Students selected for the program will be responsible for the costs of their stay abroad (travel, accommodation, food and costs of materials). Students selected for the program must also be officially enrolled at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore while they are abroad (keeping the deadlines for university fees, study plans, requests for graduation, etc.).
 

Selected students will benefit from the health insurance provided by AXA in collaboration with Cattolica. In addition, the “Student Safety Package” will be activated, and the students will be able to download the Safety Check Students app for geolocation and instant communications in case of emergency. More information about the activation procedure will be provided to the selected students.

AXA insurance policy activation is compulsory for all Cattolica students doing an international experience.
