Programme dates:
12 July - 1 August

Application deadline:

16 February 2026

Warwick Summer School | Summer short courses at Warwick University

For the Brescia campus, the Faculties have identified some recommended exams.

A B2 level of English is required.

  • Accepted international certifications, if taken from May 2024 onwards:
    • B2 First: minimum 160
    • TOEFL iBT: minimum 65
    • IELTS: minimum 5.5
    • Duolingo English Test (DET): minimum 100

  • If you do not hold one of the above certifications, you may take the English test provided by Cattolica International.
    • During the online application, you can select the date on which you will sit the test. We recommend taking the test at the earliest available date to avoid the risk of no places being available.
    • The test will be held online and can be booked directly during the application process. A Zoom link will be sent by email by the day before the test date.
    • The test can be taken only once.
    • If you have already taken the internal Cattolica International test for other overseas programmes (from May 2024 onwards) and achieved a satisfactory result, you may choose not to take it again and keep the previous result valid. You will need to indicate in the online application the date on which you took the test.

  • Students enrolled on a Cattolica degree programme taught entirely in English may access the programme by attaching a self-declaration of enrolment on the degree programme.

The document can be downloaded from the iCatt portal: Online Student Services – Substitute Declarations – Enrolment with study plan. NB the document must be completed and signed.

For scholarship ranking purposes, a B2.2 score will be automatically assigned.

No other or different methods for recognising obtained grades are permitted.

Under current regulations, Italian citizens staying in the United Kingdom for less than 6 months do not need a visa, but will need to apply for an ETA to enter the UK. All instructions will be provided once students have been admitted to the course at the University of Warwick.

Students of other nationalities must check whether they can apply for an ETA and the entry requirements, as it may be necessary to apply for a visa:
