Please pay particular attention to course dates and times, the campus where courses are held, and any prerequisites. You must meet all prerequisites for your selected courses, where applicable.

Guide to course selection

• You can select two courses for a total of 6, 7 or 8 credits.
• You must enrol in at least 6 credits.

Credit recognition

You can apply for credit recognition. You must submit your application before departure, in accordance with the procedures established by your Faculty. Please read your Faculty's regulations and relevant procedures carefully.

For the Brescia campus, the Faculties have identified a number of recommended courses.

Language certificates

Check the list of English language certificates accepted by Fordham University and the required scores: Summer International Students (section Language Requirement).

Please note: Only certificates obtained from May 2025 onwards will be accepted.

Cattolica International English language test

If you do not hold one of the certificates listed above, you can take the Cattolica International English language test.

Please note:

• When completing your online application, you can select your preferred test date. We recommend choosing the earliest available date to avoid the risk of places filling up.
• The test will be held online and can be booked directly during the application process. You will receive the Zoom link by email no later than the day before the test.
• You can take the test only once.
• If you have already passed the Cattolica International English language test for another study abroad programme since May 2025, you can choose to use your previous result without retaking the test. You must indicate the date of your previous test in your online application.

Degree programme taught in English

Students enrolled in a Cattolica degree programme taught entirely in English can access the programme by submitting a self-declaration of enrolment.

• The document can be downloaded from the iCatt portal under Online Student Services – Self-declarations – Enrolment with study plan. The document must be completed and signed.

• For the purposes of the scholarship ranking, these students will automatically be assigned a B2.2 score.

You can choose which campus to stay at based on the courses you plan to take and your personal preferences:

• Lincoln Center is located in the heart of Manhattan, near Columbus Circle subway station and Central Park. It offers air-conditioned apartments with kitchen facilities for two or three people.
   
• Rose Hill is located in the Bronx, near the Bronx Zoo, the New York Botanical Garden and the Metro-North Railroad and Fordham Road stations. It offers more traditional accommodation in air-conditioned twin rooms.

Summer Session Housing

The cost of the programme varies depending on the campus chosen and the number of credits.

* These fees refer to the 2026 edition of the programme. Fordham University will announce updated fees shortly.

Programme fee: €350 (non-refundable)

The programme fee includes:

• Guidance and support from Cattolica International with course enrolment at Fordham University
• Insurance and Student Safety Package
• Fordham University International Student Fee
• Pre-departure assistance
• Enrolment in and attendance at two courses for a total of 6 to 9 credits
• On-campus accommodation (see Accommodation section)
• Official certificate of attendance, including exam grades – Transcript of Records
• Access to all on-campus facilities (sports facilities, libraries and laboratories)
• Shuttle service between the two campuses
• Post-return assistance from Cattolica International with the procedures for recording exams taken abroad
• Post-return workshop, “Welcome Back: unpack your experience!”, organised by Cattolica International

The programme fee does not include:

• Return flights
• Meals
• Student visa application fees
• Course materials (textbooks, e-books and other learning materials)
• Any items not expressly listed as included

Cattolica offers 5 scholarships worth € 1,500 each. 

Please note:

• Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit* and paid in the form of a reimbursement.
• Students are automatically considered for a scholarship when they enrol in the programme. No separate application is required.
• When awarding scholarships, priority will be given to current students, followed by recent graduates.

* For students holding qualifications obtained outside Italy, if no grade conversion has already been recorded in their academic record at Università Cattolica, a default score of 80/100 will be assigned for their secondary school leaving qualification and 90/110 for their Bachelor's degree. No other methods of recognising or converting grades will be accepted.

Fondazione Piacenza e Vigevano Scholarships

Students enrolled in the Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences at the Piacenza may be eligible for an additional scholarship offered by Fondazione di Piacenza e Vigevano.

Scholarship funds will be distributed equally among all eligible students selected on the basis of merit who complete their enrolment in the programme by 5 April 2027, subject to the availability of funds.

Selected students will be required to apply for a student visa.

You can only submit your visa application once you have been admitted to the courses. Further information will be provided after enrolment has closed.

If you already have a passport, please check that it is still valid. If you do not have one, you should apply for it as soon as possible.
