The IELTS certification can represent significant added value for your pathway:

  • It is recognised internationally by universities, institutions and organisations around the world, and often nationally in public competitions.
  • It is often an entry requirement for programmes promoted by Cattolica International, where it may allow you to achieve a higher position in the ranking.
  • It provides a complete and standardised assessment of your English language proficiency.
  • It represents a strength for your academic and professional CV, especially from an international perspective.

Active participation and the completion of individual exercises are fundamental elements of the course. In addition, attendance is essential for success and for achieving the learning objectives.

Each course has a maximum capacity of 20 participants. Therefore, in the event of an insufficient number of enrolments, Cattolica International may offer alternative delivery methods, days and times, or cancel the course and issue a full refund of the amount paid at the time of registration.

Online courses take place via live streaming in synchronous mode and are not recorded, while in-person courses are held at the Milan campus but are also open to students from the other campuses.

Semester-long courses are available online and in person, while intensive courses are available online only.

We are committed to ensuring maximum accessibility for people with disabilities and specific learning difficulties. Please contact the Services for Inclusion at least 15 days before the date of the initial assessment test.

Anyone interested in registering for the exam at the end of the preparation course is invited to contact the chosen exam centre independently, in order to verify the exam delivery arrangements.

Please note that enrolment on the course does NOT include registration for the IELTS exam, which remains the responsibility of each individual student, who must book it independently.

Cattolica International advises all students to register for their preferred exam date as soon as possible in order to secure a place, as exam places are limited, and to take into account the timeframes set by each organisation/institution for receiving the result.

  1. In the event of withdrawal before the 4th hour of class has taken place, equal to 2 lessons for standard courses and 1 lesson for intensive courses, 75% of the course fee will be refunded.
  2. In the event of withdrawal after the 4th hour of class, the course fee will no longer be refundable.
  3. The total registration fee will be refunded only if the minimum number of participants is not reached.
  4. If the student does not pass the initial test and is therefore unable to attend the course, the course fee will be refunded in full. During registration, the student is required to carefully read the Self-assessment Form - Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
