A maximum of 5 places are available for students enrolled on the Master’s Degree programme in Foreign Languages, Literatures and Cultures.

Students interested in undertaking the Double Degree programme must submit a declaration of interest to the faculty office by the study plan submission deadlines.
Applicants must have obtained an undergraduate degree which allows access to category 37 for the track in Language Sciences, Terminologies and Text Types in line with admission criteria set down annually by the Faculty; the undergraduate curriculum must include a minimum of 24 credits in the following academic disciplinary areas: L-LIN/03 -L-LIN/04, French language and literature, French language and translation.

Students must apply during the relevant call for applications by 14 July 2023 and must demonstrate a minimum B2 level of French. 

Applications will be assessed by the academic dealing with the programme (Prof. Savina Raynaud) with various factors taken into account (number of exams passed, grade average, language skills, CV, aptitude and motivation); admissible applications will be decided on the basis of the number of places available and the number of applications received.

In line with the current agreements between the two universities, earning the double degree does not involve additional costs over and above the normal university fees at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore. However, participating students will be responsible for travel, food and accommodation expenses.

Students selected for the programme will be provided with information as to whether EU funds for an Erasmus+ contribution are available.

In order to earn a Master’s Degree in Sciences du language et Didactiques des langues, the study programme must be completed within two years. 

Participating students will prepare their final thesis during their exchange period under the coordinated supervision of both institutions (one member of faculty from each institution). Students will present their Final Thesis at their home institution; the discussion will be co-directed and evaluated by an Examination Panel which includes one faculty member from each university.  

Si precisa che gli studenti che prendono parte al programma di Doppio Titolo sono tenuti, in ottemperanza a quanto previsto dal regolamento Università Cattolica, a sostenere un esame di Teologia, a scelta tra quelli presenti nell’offerta formativa.

Tutti gli studenti saranno coperti dalla polizza assicurativa stipulata dall’Università in collaborazione con Axa.

Oltre ad essa, sarà attivato lo “Student Safety Package”, che darà la possibilità di scaricare l’APP “Safety Check Students” per la geolocalizzazione e per le comunicazioni istantanee in caso di emergenza. Maggiori informazioni su modalità di attivazione verranno fornite agli studenti selezionati.
