See the Undergraduate Summer School courses on offer, paying particular attention to any course entry requirements. Remember that applicants must satisfy any applicable entry requirements.

Guidelines for the academic offer:

  • you can only attend one course per session (both for two-week and four-week durations);
  • you can combine Session 1 + Session 2 and therefore attend two courses.
  • the 4-week session includes attendance of 1 course.

You can request credit recognition. The request for recognition must be submitted before departure, following the procedure established by your Faculty. Students are encouraged to carefully read the Faculty regulations and related procedures.

 

For the Brescia campus, the faculties have identified some recommended exams:

Check the list of language certificates and scores accepted by King’s College – Click on Entry Requirements - English language requirements.

NOTE: Certificates obtained from May 2023 onwards will be accepted.

If you do not hold any of the specified certificates, you can take the Cattolica International internal English test.

  • Select a test date and book your test when you are applying online. You should select the first date that fits your calendar so that you are sure to take the test before places run out. 
  • The test takes place in online mode, and you can book it directly during the application process.. You will receive an email with the Zoom link by the day before the test date.
  • The test can only be taken once. 
  • If you have already taken the Cattolica International internal test for other programmes abroad and obtained a result valid for this programme, you can use that result without needing take the test again. You must have taken the test no earlier than May 2023 and if you use a previous test result you must specify the test date in your online application. 

 

If you are on a Cattolica degree programme delivered entirely in English, you can upload enrolment self-certification and use it to apply for this programme. 

  • The self-certification document can be downloaded from your iCatt page: Online register - Self-certification - Iscrizione con piano di studi.
  • In terms of the ranking for scholarship allocation, a B2.2 level score will automatically be assigned.

Participants can either use King’s College London’s on-campus accommodation facilities or organise their accommodation independently.

Booking on-campus accommodation: 
When applications have closed and you have received confirmation of admission to your King’s College course and completed payment for the programme, you can go ahead with booking your accommodation.

The cost of the programme includes:

  • orientation and support from Cattolica International during enrolment on the King’s College course(s)
  • insurance and Student Safety Package
  • support leading up to departure
  • enrolment and attendance on one course per session
  • access to campus facilities (libraries, laboratories etc)
  • support on return from the programme for procedure for registering examinations taken abroad
  • official certificate of attendance, with exam grades
  • "Welcome Back: unpack your experience!" session by International on return from the programme


Not included in the cost of the programme

  • return flights
  • meals and accommodation
  • study visa costs, if applicable
  • cost of study materials 
  • anything not specified in the preceding list 

Cattolica offers 10 scholarships, each worth €1,000.

  • Scholarships are awarded based on academic merit and provided as reimbursements.
  • To apply, simply enroll in the program; no specific application is required.
  • During the scholarship allocation process, priority will be given to students, followed by recent graduates.

Current regulations allow Italian citizens to stay for up to six months in the United Kingdom without a visa. However, starting from April 2025, Italian citizens will need to apply for an ETA to enter the United Kingdom. All instructions will be provided once admitted to the courses at King’s College London.

Students of other nationalities must check their eligibility to apply for an ETA: Check if you can get an electronic travel authorisation (ETA) - GOV.UK and review the entry requirements, as they may need to apply for a visa: Check if you need a UK visa - GOV.UK.

You will need a valid passport in order to enter the UK. If you do not have a valid passport you should apply for one as soon as possible.
