Following the assignment of the destination, in case of refusal of one of the assigned destinations, the student may choose to withdraw from the program or remain on the waiting list for their preferred destinations.

Students who are eligible, but not selected due to exhaustion of places, may be reinstated in the event of withdrawals relating to their preferences. It will not be possible to be assigned to destinations other than those on the application list.

The selection process related to the Double Degree program will have a total duration of one year, with the call opening in October 2025 and final closure in September 2026.

Students must complete their application by December 15th, 2025, indicating their choice of destinations and providing the required language skills.

The call will be reopened only for students who have completed their application by December 15th, 2025, in the period May-June 2026. On this occasion, students will be able to take the internal Cattolica International test again to demonstrate the improvement of their language skills, or alternatively, present an international certification obtained in the meantime. It will also be possible to change the order of preferences.

Finally, the call will open for the last time from September 24th to 26th, 2026. On this occasion, students will be able to change the order of their preferences and present new language certifications obtained in the meantime. Also in this case, only students who have completed their application by December 15th, 2025, will be able to re-access the notice and make any changes.

The ranking will be drawn up on the basis of a mathematical algorithm that takes into consideration the following aspects:

  • 40% weighted average of exams as of September 30th, 2026
  • 40% number of ECTS achieved by September 30th, 2026
  • 20% language proficiency

Furthermore, students who by September 30th, 2026, have not obtained a minimum of 50 ECTS for the courses envisaged in the first-year Study Plan will be excluded from the definitive ranking.

All program candidates must demonstrate their language skills for each selected destination.

International certifications and internal Cattolica International tests taken and with results obtained from May 1st, 2024, onwards are considered valid for the application.

To check the permitted language certifications and the corresponding CEFR levels, and for more information regarding the Cattolica International internal test, consult the Language Requirements section of the website. Students with an IB (International Baccalauréate) diploma can be exempt from the internal test. In this case, they will be assessed ex officio with level B2.2.

Holding an international certification from those on the list will award 5 additional ranking points. Language certifications other than those listed online will not be accepted. It is the responsibility of each candidate to ensure that the certification in their possession is among those listed as valid for the purposes of exemption from the internal test. Please note that the language test for entry to the Degree Course is not valid for admission to the Double Degree program.

  • Students who may be awarded an Erasmus grant will not be eligible at the same time for another Community grant (Erasmus Placement, Erasmus Mundus, Leonardo, etc.) or for a grant for Internships or for Theses abroad;
  • Students who already benefit from the EduCatt grant will be able to apply to the aforementioned institution for a grant supplement to support the educational experience abroad;
  • Students who inform the Office of any disability or disadvantageous economic conditions may receive additional contributions.

The allocation of any contributions refers exclusively to the first year of international mobility (ay 2027-28).

Costs and methods of activating the service will be communicated directly to the selected students.

ATTENTION: the activation of the Student Safety Package does not exclude that the stipulation of an additional insurance package by the destination university may be required. In this case, students will have to take out double insurance.
