The programme offers students enrolled in the first year of their Master’s Degree in Innovation and Technology Management at Università Cattolica the possibility of obtaining a Double Degree:

  • Master of Science in Innovation and Technology Management, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore
  • Master in Management : Programme Grande École, IESEG School of Management

The programme covers two years of study of the Laurea Magistrale, the first year at Università Cattolica and the second year + a compulsory six months of internship at IESEG, campus Paris or campus Lille.

Students studying the MsC in Innovation and Technology Management are assigned a level of B2.2.

In order to be ranked,students can choose to apply with an international certification. 

These certifications are accepted by IESEG School of Management: IELTS 6.5, TOEFL IBT 85, TOEIC 4 skills 880, Duolingo 115, Cambridge Exam B2.
In order to get the Programme Grande Ecole title, it will be compulsory to pass the TOEIC test with 880 score.
 

Hereunder is outlined the study plan with reference to academic year 2025/26. Some changes may occur and students will have the courses recognized as per the Double Degree agreement:

The plan of study above will be fully recognized with the 2nd year of studies of the MSc in Innovation and Technology Management.

In accordance with Cattolica and IESEG agreement, 5 students can access the programme on an exchange base, without paying any academic tuition fee and benefiting from the Erasmus scholarship, upon availability of funds.

The exceeding students from the 5 exchange, can still apply on a fee-paying base. The fees for the Master Management: Programme Grande École at IESEG School of Management for the academic year 2025/26 is € 12.620.  This cost may be subject to change for the next academic year, based on IESEG internal financial adjustments, check here the updated cost.

All Cattolica students who will go on a fee-paying base will access a reduction of 10% on the cost of tuition.

All students will be responsible for all costs associated with their time abroad: travel, room and board, IESEG student fees, cost of academic material, health insurance and visa issuance fees, should this be the case.

Selected students must also be officially enrolled at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore for the entirety of their time at IESEG, respecting all university deadlines set for fees, study plans, graduation scheduling requests etc.

Upon official acceptance from IESEG, all students will have to pay a non-refundable programme fee of €950 to Cattolica International. This fee will include administrative and application fees and the student safety package and insurance. 
 

During the 2nd year at IESEG, Cattolica students will attend a compulsory 6-months internship in which they take on “junior executive” responsibilities, demonstrating their ability to analyze a problem and propose solutions. The internship will take place from June until December, while also developing the consulting project and master thesis. The internship can be done anywhere in the world, also in Italy.

The internship can be chosen in various fields: sales, finance, management, marketing, HR etc..

Examples of positions are: 

  • Junior Auditor
  • Product Assistant Manager
  • Junior Management Controller
  • Human Resources Officer Assignments

The final thesis will be prepared and discussed both at IESEG and at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore upon return. IESEG discussion will be run in a remote mode, while Cattolica discussion will be defended in presence following the rules of the School of Economics. The timing of discussions is scheduled to be in February.  

Please note that all students taking part in the Degree Programme are required, in accordance with Università Cattolica’s regulations, to take the Theology exams present in their course plan, it is highly suggested to pass it before leaving for the mobility programme. In case it isn’t, the student is expected to pass it once back from their second year, before graduation, in a regular exam session.

All students participating in an official Cattolica International programme must accept the “Student Safety Package” provisions by downloading the “Safety Check Students” app for the geolocation and instant messaging features to be used exclusively in the event of an emergency. The “Student Safety Package” also includes health insurance coverage for the entire duration of the programme.
