If you can’t attend any of the scheduled days, don’t worry — our office is available to arrange individual interviews. Write an email to wea@unicatt.it and request an individual appointment!

  1. Visit the Summer 2026 destinations page.

  2. Complete your online application and upload the following required documents::

    • CV in English
    • Cover Letter in English: remember to specify a destination from the call for applications and indicate your field of interest in your cover letter.
    • Passport: not required
    • English certification: not required

To complete your application you will be required to pay a non-refundable application fee of € 35 before the closing date for applications.

After the registration deadline, the International Office will collect your application and send the documents you uploaded during the application phase (CV and Cover Letter) to the provider you selected based on your chosen destination.

Subsequently, you will be invited by the provider to participate in the initial introductory call, during which you will have the opportunity to verbally convey what you wrote in the Cover Letter. We encourage you to schedule the call as soon as possible so that the provider can begin the placement search.

We advise you to regularly check your Icatt email inbox as well as your personal email to avoid missing important communications from the provider!

Additionally, in the week following the registration deadline, our office will compile the ranking list and allocate the scholarships based on academic merit.

Then, we will schedule an initial and mandatory orientation session together to understand the subsequent steps to be taken!

If this is your first international experience during your current course of study, upon your return, you will automatically receive 1 additional ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) credit for international activities.

It is also possible to have a Customized Internship Abroad recognized as a curricular internship!
To verify whether this recognition is possible and the requisities you must satisfy, you must consult your faculty guide and contact your Faculty Internship Tutor. The names, contact information, and office hours of the Internship Tutors are available online. Simply visit your study program’s page and click on the "Activities and Experiences" / "Internships and Stage" section.

Once the provider has confirmed the company’s name and your tasks, you can inform your tutor. After obtaining their approval, you can proceed with activating the internship on the Stage and Placement Portal (Portale Stage and Placement (STeP)) by following the activation guide.
