It is possible to request CFU (academic credit) recognition. The recognition request must be submitted before the start of the programme, following the procedure set by your Faculty. Students are advised to carefully read the Faculty regulations and the relevant procedures: Exam Approval l Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore

You must hold one of the following certifications, obtained from May 2024 onwards:

  • IELTS Academic: 6 
  • Duolingo: 100 
  • TOEFL iBT: 80 
  • Cambridge: 170 

 

  • If you do not hold one of the listed certifications, you may take the Università Cattolica International English language test.
    • During the online application, you can select the test date. It is recommended to take the test at the first available session to avoid places running out.
    • The test will be held online and can be booked directly during the application process. The Zoom link will be sent by email by the day before the test date.
    • The test may be taken only once

 

  • Students enrolled in a Cattolica degree programme taught entirely in English may access the programme by submitting a self-certification of enrolment in their degree course.
    • The document can be downloaded from the iCatt page: Online Student Services → Substitute declarations of certification → Enrolment with study plan. Note: the document must be completed and signed.
    • For the purposes of the ranking for the allocation of scholarships, a B2.2 score will be automatically assigned.

Students will live in single rooms in residence.

Programme fee: € 300 (non-refundable)

The programme fee includes:

  • Guidance and support during enrolment in the PSB course
  • Insurance and the Student Safety Package provided by Cattolica International
  • Pre-departure support
  • Enrolment and attendance of a two-week course
  • Single-room accommodation in a residence
  • Breakfast and lunch on weekdays
  • Farewell party
  • Visits and cultural activities organised by PSB
  • Post-return support with procedures for the recognition of exams taken abroad
  • Official certificate of attendance, including exam grades
  • Post-return workshop “Welcome Back: unpack your experience!” organised by Cattolica International     

 The following are not included in the programme fee: 

  • Return flights
  • Dinners on weekdays and all meals at weekends
  • Any costs related to the issuance of a study visa
  • Costs related to academic materials
  • Anything not expressly specified

Cattolica offers 13 scholarships, each worth €800.

  • Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit and paid as a reimbursement.
  • To apply, it is sufficient to enrol in the programme; no separate application is required.
  • When awarding scholarships, current students are given priority, followed by recent graduates.
  • For students holding qualifications obtained outside Italy, if no grade conversion has already been recorded at Università Cattolica, an automatic score will be assigned: 80/100 for upper secondary school grades and 90/110 for bachelor’s degree grades. No alternative or additional forms of grade recognition are permitted.

France belongs to EU and is part of the Schengen area, thus students with Italian citizenship don't need a visa. They are however invited to check the validity of their ID documents.

Students with Non-EU citizenship are invited to check if they need a visa to live in France.
