  • Please note that meeting the prerequisites (if required by the course(s)) is mandatory. It is possible to access the entire Summer Session 2 course offering. Guide to course selection
  • You may choose 2 courses, for a total of 6, 7 or 8 credits.
  • It is not possible to choose fewer than 6 credits.
  • You may apply for credit recognition (CFU). For the Brescia campus, the Faculties have identified some recommended exams.

  • Please consult the list of certifications accepted by Fordham University and the relevant score requirements: Summer International Students (Language Requirement section).

    IMPORTANT: only certifications obtained from May 2024 onwards will be accepted.

     
  • If you do not hold one of the required certifications, you may sit the Cattolica International English language test.
    • During the online application, you can select the date on which to take the test. It is recommended to take the test on the first available date to avoid the risk of no places being left.
    • The test will be held online and can be booked directly during the application process. The Zoom link will be sent by email by the day before the test date.
    • The test may only be taken once.
    • If you have already taken the internal Cattolica International test for other study-abroad programmes (from May 2024 onwards) and obtained a sufficient result, you may choose not to take it again and keep the previous result valid. You must indicate in the online application the date on which you took the test.

       
  • Students enrolled in a Cattolica degree programme taught entirely in English may access the programme by uploading a self-certification of enrolment in their degree programme.
    • The document can be downloaded from the iCatt page: Online Student Services – Substitute Declarations of Certification – Enrolment with study plan. Please note that the document must be completed and signed.
    • For the purpose of the ranking for the allocation of scholarships, a B2.2 score will be automatically assigned.

Students may choose the campus where they will live based on the courses they plan to take and their personal interests. The Lincoln Center campus is located in the heart of Manhattan (near the Columbus Circle–Central Park underground station) and offers apartments with kitchen and air conditioning for 2 or 3 people. The Rose Hill campus is located in the Bronx (near the Bronx Zoo, the New York Botanical Garden, and the Metro-North Railroad and Fordham Rd. underground stations) and offers more traditional accommodation in double rooms with air conditioning.

  • Shuttle service connecting the two campuses
  • Post-return support from Cattolica International regarding the procedures for the recognition of external exams

The following are not included in the programme cost:
  • Return flight

  • Costs related to the issuance of the study visa
  • Costs related to academic materials (textbooks, e-books or other teaching materials)
  • Anything not expressly specified

  • Università Cattolica offers 7 scholarships, each worth €1,700.
    • Please note that scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit and are paid as a reimbursement.
    • To apply, it is sufficient to enrol in the programme; no separate application is required.
    • When allocating scholarships, priority will be given first to students and subsequently to recent graduates.
    • For students holding qualifications obtained outside Italy, if no grade conversion has already been recorded in their academic career at Università Cattolica, an official score will be assigned as follows: 80/100 for the upper secondary school diploma and 90/110 for the Bachelor’s degree. No other or alternative methods of recognising grades obtained are permitted.

Selected students must apply for a study visa. The application can only be submitted after being admitted to the courses. Further information will be provided after the application deadline.
If you already hold a passport, please check its validity. If you do not yet have one, you must apply for it as soon as possible.
