It is possible to transfer to Università Cattolica by enrolling on a degree programme at the same level or a lower level than your previous course.
To proceed, you must check your academic record to assess your entry requirements and any transferable credits by accessing the Course Enrolment Portal.
You must enter details of the modules you have completed, including: subject area (where applicable), credit value (where applicable), grade and date of completion.
You must also submit a transfer application to your current university. The admission procedures and deadlines for each degree programme are available in the admission guidelines published on the course pages (three-year and single-cycle degrees – master’s degrees).
PLEASE NOTE
The University’s Academic Regulations stipulate that the Faculty’s Academic Committee must recognise as many credits as possible, in accordance with the criteria set out in the degree programme regulations and, if necessary, by conducting interviews to assess the knowledge acquired; furthermore, for the purposes of obtaining the degree, at least 50% of the required credits (excluding the final examination) must be earned at the Catholic University.

Transfer to the first year of a degree programme: students who are already enrolled at another university may apply via the competitive selection procedures established for enrolment in the first year of the degree programme of their choice.
The student’s previous academic record is assessed by a dedicated committee appointed by each degree programme board following enrolment.
Transfers to years beyond the first year: please refer to the Specific Regulations set out below
It is advisable, for those who intend to transfer to another university, to check with the university of destination the deadlines and admission procedures.
The transfer request can be submitted from mid-July to October of each academic year.
Before submitting the application, the student is required to regularise any previous debt positions.

In the case of a request to transfer to another university submitted after 31 October, it is necessary to deliver the original authorisation issued by the university of destination to the Student Services Centre of the campus of reference.
It is also necessary to pay additional secretarial fees, proportional to the time required to submit the application, as indicated in the Contribution Regulations.
