UCLA Summer sessions

  • Access to the UCLA summer course offerings for Sessions A6 and C6.
  • It is not possible to select other sessions.
  • Please consult the UCLA course catalogue Schedule of Classes | UCLA Registrar’s OfficeImportant: the updated course list will be available from mid-January 2026. In the meantime, it is possible to consult the 2025 edition.
    • Guide to course selection:
      • check that course days and times do not overlap;
      • filter by the Term “Summer Sessions 2026”;
      • online courses cannot be selected;
      • any prerequisites must be met (where required by the course/courses).
  • You may select two courses per session for a minimum of 8 units.
  • You may request recognition of CFU credits. The request must be submitted before departure, following the procedure set out by your Faculty. Students are invited to read carefully the Faculty regulations and the related procedures: Approvazione esami | Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore

For the Brescia campus, some recommended exams have been identified by the Faculties (Excel files to be uploaded to GeCo and SMFN). Students are invited, once the UCLA course list has been updated, to check whether the courses will also be offered in summer 2025.

Please consult the list of certifications accepted by UCLA and the related scores: International Student Information – UCLA Summer Sessions (section “English Proficiency”)

IMPORTANT: only certifications obtained from May 2024 onwards will be accepted.

  • If you do not hold one of the listed certifications, you may take the English language test provided by Cattolica International.
    • During the online application, you may select the date on which to sit the test. We recommend taking the test at the earliest available date to avoid the risk of no places being available.
    • The test will be held online and can be booked directly during the application process. A Zoom link will be sent by email by the day before the test date.
    • The test may be taken only once.
    • If you have already taken the internal Cattolica International test for other overseas programmes (from May 2024 onwards) and obtained a satisfactory result, you may choose not to take it again and keep the previous result valid. You must indicate in the online application the date on which the test was taken.
  • Students enrolled in a Cattolica degree programme taught entirely in English may access the programme by attaching a self-declaration of enrolment on the degree programme.
    • The document can be downloaded from the iCatt portal: Online Student Services – Substitute Declarations – Enrolment with study plan. NB the document must be completed and signed.
    • For scholarship ranking purposes, a B2.2 score will be automatically assigned.
