Clinical Electives

The call for applications is published twice per year:

Scholarships are available as partial reimbursement of travel and accommodation expenses.

• European destinations: approximately € 500 - € 550 per month, depending on the destination. 
• Non-European destinations: approximately € 500 per month. 

Additional financial support (non-cumulative) may be available for:

• •    students with lower socio-economic status (ISEEU). 
• •    students with specific health or physical conditions (e.g. disability, DSA, coeliac disease).

STEP 2
Complete the application through your iCatt personal page:
Services and Opportunities > International Mobility > Mobility Calls > Exchange Programs > Electives Network.
 

STEP 3
Pay the non-refundable €35 application fee online.

Students may request ECTS recognition by uploading the official certificate issued by the host institution on their iCatt page.

• Medicine and Surgery / Medicine and Surgery (English-taught): recognised as Clinical/Research Electives, with a minimum duration of 1 month (at least 100 hours). 
• Other programmes: recognised as curricular traineeship.

Selected students are required to activate the Student Safety Package, which includes:

• insurance coverage for the entire duration of the programme abroad. 
• access to the Safety App for emergency management. 

Costs and activation procedures will be communicated directly to selected students.
