Access to the academic offer of the International Summer Session of the FUDAN University.

All courses will be taught in the English language and access is available to students of all faculties.

Note: Syllabi and schedules are currently being updated.

Please note:

  • you can choose 1, 2 or 3 content courses (maximum 6 credits)
  • PE courses and Chinese language courses are optional
  • there are 3 levels of Chinese language courses: elementary (accessible also to beginners), intermediate, advanced

Chinese language courses are addressed only to students with Chinese passport.

Only the following certificates obtained from May 2023 onwards are accepted:

  • B2 First: minimum 160
  • TOEFL iBT: minimum 65
  • IELTS: minimum 5.5
  • Duolingo English Test (DET): minimum 100

If you do not hold any of the certificates listed above, you can take the Cattolica International internal English test.

  • Select a test date and book your test when you are applying online. You should select the first date that fits your calendar so that you are sure to take the test before places run out. 
  • The test takes place in online mode, and you can book it directly during the application process. You will receive an email with the Zoom link by the day before the test date.
  • The test can only be taken once. 
  • If you have already taken the Cattolica International internal test for other programmes abroad and obtained a result valid for this programme, you can use that result without needing take the test again. You must have taken the test no earlier than May 2023 and if you use a previous test result you must specify the test date in your online application. 

If you are on a Cattolica degree programme delivered entirely in English, you can upload enrolment self-certification and use it to apply for this programme. 

  • The self-certification document can be downloaded from your iCatt page: Online register - Self-certification - Iscrizione con piano di studi.
  • In terms of the ranking for scholarship allocation, a B2.2 level score will automatically be assigned.

The student can choose whether to stay on campus and thus take advantage of the facilities provided by FUDAN University, or to organize their accommodation independently. The student can also choose whether to stay in a single or double room.

Once the registration period has ended and the admission to the courses at FUDAN University has been confirmed, each student will receive instructions on how to book accommodation.

Students with a Chinese passport are invited to inform us by sending an email to: programmi.internazionali@unicatt.it.

Fudan University will provide a list of off-campus accommodations from which students can independently choose and book.

  • Single room: 150 RMB per day*
  • Double room: 100 RMB per day*

*Accommodation costs may vary, as indicated by FUDAN.

  • Application fee: 400 RMB
  • Tuition fee: 19,800 RMB
  • Programme fee: € 300 non refundable

 

This includes:

  • orientation and help when enrolling on courses at FUDAN University
  • assistance before departure
  • insurance cover and Student Safety Package
  • teaching assitants and buddies at FUDAN University
  • access to on campus services (including sport structures)
  • free wifi access
  • assistance on return with procedures for registering results of examinations taken abroad
  • "Welcome Back: unpack your experience!" session upon return to Italy, held by Cattolica International

 
The following are not covered by the cost of the programme:

  • return flights
  • accommodation and meals
  • visa costs
  • academic material
  • any items not listed specifically above

Cattolica offers 5 scholarships, each worth €1,500.

  • Please note that the scholarships are awarded based on academic merit and disbursed as a reimbursement.
  • To apply, simply enroll in the program; no specific application is required.
  • During the scholarship allocation process, priority will be given to students, followed by recent graduates.

Students selected for the programme must apply for a visa.

You can only proceed with your visa application after you have been accepted on the courses.

Further information will be provided after applications close.

You must have a valid passport. If you do not have a passport, you must apply for one as soon as possible.
