The COIL offers students enrolled in the Scienze della Formazione Primaria programme (Milan and Brescia campuses) the opportunity to explore, together with students from SUPSI (Scuola Universitaria Professionale della Svizzera Italiana) the theme of play as a fundamental tool for the child’s holistic development, supporting cognitive, emotional, and social skills through active and motivating learning.
Thanks to the complementarity of the two approaches — more psychological at SUPSI and more pedagogical at Università Cattolica — the project provides a comparative and interdisciplinary perspective on the role of play in school-age children.

The programme will award 2 credit points out of 8 for the course in Pedagogia generale (Milan and Brescia campus).

In addition, the recognition of 1 extra ECTS credit for international activities is provided.
