Services for inclusion

In April-May, an important awareness-raising day on disability issues open to the entire academic population takes place to promote and enhance the inclusion process. "Put yourself in my shoes" is an actual best practice grafted onto the Italian model of active participation. Through role taking, the training intervention aims to offer food for thought and critical processing by activating an emotional involvement of the participants.

Freshmen with specific learning disorders (SLD) are invited to the SLD DAYS: days of in-depth study and discussion to help them get the most out of their new university adventure. During these meetings they will be able to get to know the staff of the Disability and Dyslexia Services Office, the methods of intervention and the procedures necessary to avail of the Services' mediation and start to reflect on the study strategies that can help them during their university journey.

To take part, please contact the Disability and Dyslexia Services Office Secretariat of your campus by visiting the Contacts page.
